Sevillano Links is a public 18 hole golf course located in Corning, California.
Sevillano Links first opened for play in 2007. The course was designed by Mike Stark.
The course is positioned on over 400 acres of rolling terrain. It is the only course on the West Coast endorsed by two-time major championship winner John Daly. Although a John Daly Signature Course, in actuality Daly made only about one visit a year to Sevillano over the three-year period the course was being built. Architect Mike Stark handled the day-to-day work. Big John as inspiration for a long "grip-em and rip-em" course and the marketing power of his name were his biggest contributions.
With the average golfer in mind, Sevillano Links offers a unique golfing experience for players of all abilities. The tees open up the course to a multitude of possibilities, ranging from 5,500 to 7,800 yards.
The unprecedented design of the John Daly Signature Course (Mr. Grip um and rip um) allows each hole to play as a par-5 should you choose. The par-5 course measures over 10,000 yards, with a par of 90. The layout of the highland-links style course features natural grasslands, ponds, and over 50 bunkers. In addition to the 18-hole course, Sevillano Links offers the finest practice facility in the North State — featuring a grass teeing ground on the driving range, a practice putting green, chipping green, and sand bunker. Moderate green fees, which includes a cart, helps make Sevillano Links one of the best golf deals in California. With a wide range of amenities including a full service golf shop, PGA golf instruction, junior golf programs, custom club fitting, sports bar, and proximity to Rolling Hills Casino and two hotels, "Sevillano Links" may be hard to say, but it's definitely awesome to play.
The only trees on the course comes into play on hole 13 and can be seen in the picture above.

Course is nice and great staff at the course, they provided plenty of water and ice, but was 104 degrees and the course does not have a single tree on it, so exposed to the sun, heat and wind if there were any. Tuesday's is Sr. day and rate is almost half of the normal rate. Was worth our $45 but not their normal rate of almost double that. We were treated first class, no complaint there and the course would have been more fun if it weren't so hot. The back tees are really long, but they have 5 sets of tees.

Situated behind Rolling Hills Casino in Corning, Ca. with an RV Park Next door and Ramada Inn within walking distance. Staff will pick you and your clubs up at the RV park or at the Inn and transport you to the course. The course is magnificent. From a distance it looks like a plain links golf course but once you tee off you realize how beautiful and tranquil it is on the course. The staff are the friendliest staff you could ask for. The course has tees suitable for all levels of golf and is pure pleasure to play. This course is PGA quality. Look around, you can find a great rate on the Internet.

This course is fairly new, the area in known for summer heat and afternoon wind. Downside is no other courses in the area, you need to make a special trip, or catch it when passing through. This is a John Daly design, and can play long and difficult. Very nice conditions, staff and all around feel. Their is a casino adjacent to this location with great accommodations. Worth a trip but check your weather report.

When the wind blows more than 20 kts, the course becomes very difficult. There are many blind shots. Big bombers might have to hide their drivers. They might become frustrated because one can easily hit it out of sight and lose the ball. Fairways very tight, you have to be perverse to enjoy this course. Club 19 has two for one coupons that make this a deal, winter rates very reasonable. I am a 22.7 index

Multiple tees create a course on which a golfer of any skill level can be comfortable. Greens and fairways were superb.

A truly challenging links layout. Gentle changes in elevation sets up many blind shots; lack of trees makes distance estimating a challenge. Carts set up with GPS helps. Course is usually in outstanding shape slthough some greens are showing some burning and plug marks lately. Rough is very thick, green and heavy, a real club grabber. multiple tee boxes to accomodate whatever level of frustration you want to bare.
